Major Responsibilities

I serve primarily as the GAMS GIS Lab administrator and the plotter administrator. My duties as lab administrator are to oversee use of the equipment and respond to questions or problems that arise. I also perform digitizing and scanning to help create some of the maps produced at the Survey.

My duties as plotter administrator are to maintain the smooth running of the plotters and to answer staff questions. I also work with people outside the Survey to help them generate plots for various events, which could be as simple as answering a question to creating and sending the plotfile itself.
