Major Responsibilities

  • Operation and maintenance of Finnigan 252 IRMS, Kiel Carbonate Unit, Elemental Analyzer, and GC/MS.
  • Perform stable isotope analysis for carbon, oxygen, and sulfur.
  • Perform low-level tritium analysis.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.

Current Research Projects

  • Identification of sources of sodium and chloride in natural waters
  • Set-up of Carbon-14 laboratory for University of Tennessee
