Major Responsibilities
I provide support for hydrogeologic studies of wetlands and wetland mitigation sites throughout Illinois that are related to the Illinois Department of Transportation's wetland mitigation program.
- Measuring on-site surface-water and groundwater levels and collecting on-site precipitation data
- Field activities including surveying instrument levels and installing and maintaining monitoring wells and other field instruments used to collect water-level measurements
- Data processing, database maintenance, and report preparation
- Collecting and interpreting historical, environmental, and geologic data
Current Research Projects
- Groundwater protection for Illinois Nature Preserves and natural areas
