Current Projects

• Photogrammetry, remote sensing and image processing to classify texture and mineralogy on short-lived outcrops
• Reflectorless total station surveying of inaccessible sections in pits and quarries
• collecting fugitive borehole descriptions from private industry and government for geologic mapping and automated database updating
• Thermal infrared imagery for finding CO₂ leakage in rowcrop fields
• Outreach and education on geologic mapping, geography, and groundwater issues
