He has been conducting extensive field work for both Phase II and Phase III of the Department of Energy funded Midwest Geological Sequestration Consortium. In that capacity, he collects water and gas samples, executes laboratory analyses, prepares and maintaines field equipment, and describes geologic cores from the drilling of water-monitoring wells. Bracken began working for the ISGS full-time in 2004.
