This log is from a borehole located in Saline County, Township 7 South, Range 6 East, northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of section 35, 330 feet from the South section line, and 330 feet from the West section line.

The Coal Section stratigraphic database from which this .PDF file derives is a multi-project database which contains drill hole and outcrop descriptions of Pennsylvanian stratigraphy in Illinois. Consequently, the level of detail and accuracy in the data and their interpretation vary (sometimes widely, ) with the geologist, project type, or original data source.
