ISGS Interlibrary Loan Policy
Who May Request Materials
- The ISGS Library will lend materials and send copies of articles via interlibrary loan.
- Individuals may request the use of our materials through their local library.
Loan Policy
- We loan reports, documents, and books for a four-week loan period.
- We do not loan journals, maps, and one-of-a-kind documents.
- Photocopies of articles are limited to 20 pages.
- We do not charge for loans or photocopies.
- We ask that materials be returned to us in the same condition they were received.
- We accept Interlibrary Loan requests by mail (Library, ISGS, 615 E. Peabody, Champaign, IL 61820-6964), or fax (217-244-2785), or e-mail.
Sending Materials
- We must limit requests to the United States unless payment is made for transmittal charges.
- Materials requested by Illinois libraries will be sent by mail or through the Intersystems Library Delivery Service (ILDS).
- Materials requested by out-of-state libraries will be sent by mail.
- Libraries may request that materials be sent FedEx by providing a FedEx account number at the time the request is made.
