Abstract:
This data set shows federal lands in Illinois. Digitized from maps provided by USFWS, county plat books, and 1:24,000 quadrangle maps. Boundaries are approximate and do not indicate ownership or property boundaries.

Purpose:
Appropriate for use in local and regional thematic analysis. Data are not accurate enough to be used as a geodetic or engineering base.
