at 1:100,000 by County. Incorporated areas for all of
Illinois. Derived from from TIGER/Line Files, July 1991,
Bureau of the Census, US Department of Commerce. Nominal
scale of 1:100,000.
These data are appropriate for use in local and regional
demographic analysis. A municipality may be represented
of more than one points. Locations are subject to change
and should not be considered definitive.

Data are an accurate reflection of the Bureau of the Census
TIGER/Line files. Attribute data are believed to be tied to
the proper area with 100 percent accuracy relative to the
Tiger/LINE data.
Data set is topologically structured
polygon data.
All incorporateed places identified in the TIGER/Line
files, 1991, are included.
Data are derived from Tiger/LINE files and are believed
to have reasonable positional accuracy to around 167 feet.
This estimate is derived form USGS National Map Accuracy
standards for map scale of 1:100,000.
