Digitized boundaries have not been verified. Boundaries from county plat books were digitized on screen against 1:100,000 coverages (e.g.roads, section lines, etc.)
State Fish and Wildlife Areas included in this data set are based on a list from Land and Water Report as of June 30, 1994 by the Illinois Department of Conservation. Changes made to this list since December, 1995 will not be reflected in this data set. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is the definitive source as to its land holdings.
Polygon data are topologically complete polygons.
