Project Milestones

The Illinois Clearinghouse was first brought on-line in July of 1997. Since that time, significant data additions have included USGS Digital Raster Graphics (DRGs), 1998-1999 USGS Digital Orthophoto quarter Quadrangles (DOQs), 2000 Orthoimagery for the Des Plaines River Watershed, Illinois Geological Quadrangle (IGQ) digital data products, Illinois Historical Aerial Photographs from 1936 to 1941, 2004 National Agriculture Imagery Program DOQs, 2005 USGS DOQs and 2005 Chicago Urban Area orthoimagery, and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) elevation data.

2012

ILHMP project acquires LidAR data for Monroe, Randolph, and St. Clair Counties

2011

ILHMP project LiDAR data available for 18 total counties plus portions of 2 additional counties.

Illinois Historical Aerial Photographs available for 102 counties October, 2011.

2010

ILHMP project LiDAR data available for 11 total Counties.

ILHMP project acquires LidAR data for Kendall County

Illinois Historical Aerial Photographs available for 90 counties August, 2010.

2009

ILHMP project LiDAR data available for Carroll, JoDaviess and Winnebago Counties December, 2009.
