Typical surface drainage of glacier

The clear water and blue ice are typical of surface drainage, even where the ice has dust and algae on the surface, as in this image. This stream is flowing down the snout of a glacier, with unglaciated terrain in the background. Location is thought to be about 13 km east-southeast of the town of Pond Inlet, on a glacier originating on the south flanks of Mt. Morin.
