Aerial view of a palsa-like feature

Aerial view from an altitude of approximately 300 m of a palsa-like feature 1 or 2 km inland from those depicted in images 0048, 0108, 0109, and 0131. Landward from the mouth of the Maguse River, these features disappear, apparently as the ice lensing that raises them deteriorates because of sublimation or melting. This image shows the roughly concentric, high-angle reverse faults that typically accompany the collapse. On the ground, the scarplets of these faults are about 30 cm high and dip away from the center of the feature. Further landward, I thought I could discern some circular features that may be flattened remnants of these features, but I have no images of them.
